Getting to know our way around San Felipe, Mexico

We've been enjoying our time at the beach, watching the sun rise and set is a big event! Mike has caught a couple small fish and a couple crabs. I've tried my hand at cooking fresh scallops and clams. With the help of our neighbors we have found a nice laundromat at Play de Oro and a dentist, she charges $30 for teeth cleaning! Also a nice Veterinarian, as I found  a tick on Rocky, office visit: $20. Will see how much he charges clean  Rocky's teeth. Also found the hardware store, a nice new grocery store (Calimax) and the Agua store (15 pesos, or about $1.10 for 8 gallons purified water). The people are nice, and tolerant of my inadequate Spanish. There is poverty too, Mike and Rocky scared off a bandito this morning, going through the trash? trying to steal our shoes? Who knows. I saw a man walking along the street, looked he had a destination in mind, was walking with a purpose, came across a beer bottle, not quite empty, picked it up and drank it! Huh, don't see that every day!
No snowmobiles on the beach!!

Fancy resort in the distance.

Mike's first fish, not big enough to eat.
